The latest NikeSKIMS drop pushes the partnership into brighter territory with a monochrome summer ready take on the split toe silhouette.
NikeSKIMS Expands Beyond Neutral Tones
Nike and SKIMS are turning up the color for Summer 2026 with the new NikeSKIMS Rift Mesh “Psychic Pink.” Arriving in an unapologetically bold bubblegum shade, the upcoming release marks the most visually daring entry in the collaborative footwear line so far.
Since debuting earlier this year, the Rift Mesh silhouette has largely stayed within SKIMS’ signature world of earthy neutrals and muted tones. “Psychic Pink” completely flips that formula, covering the entire sneaker in one saturated shade from heel to toe.
A Split Toe Sneaker Designed for Summer
The Rift Mesh maintains the same lightweight construction that defined previous releases in the partnership. Breathable mesh wraps the upper while soft foam cushioning keeps the silhouette positioned somewhere between performance footwear and everyday lounge wear.
A hook and loop midfoot strap delivers adjustable support without disrupting the shoe’s sleek profile, while subtle SKIMS branding appears across the outsole in place of traditional tread detailing.
The split toe construction remains the focal point of the silhouette, giving the sneaker a futuristic edge that continues to separate it from more traditional lifestyle models currently dominating the market.
The Collaboration’s Brightest Statement Yet
What makes “Psychic Pink” stand out is its commitment to a completely uninterrupted monochrome finish. There are no contrasting accents, layered shades, or secondary details competing with the color story. Instead, the sneaker treats the entire upper as one continuous surface, allowing the vibrant pink tone to define the shoe’s identity on its own.
The release also reflects a broader shift happening across women’s footwear, where louder colors and more expressive styling are beginning to replace the subdued minimalism that dominated recent seasons.
The NikeSKIMS Rift Mesh “Psychic Pink” launches May 14 for $150 USD through Nike.
