A recovery classic from 2008 returns with modular design and a fashion forward update.
A Performance Throwback Reimagined
Nike is reviving the Rejuven8 Run, a recovery silhouette first introduced during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Originally designed as a breathable post performance solution, the model returns for 2026 with a refreshed identity that extends beyond athletic recovery into everyday lifestyle wear. The comeback taps into current demand for comfort driven footwear with technical roots.
Modular Design With Interchangeable Booties
The defining feature of the Rejuven8 Run remains its lightweight cage like outer shell, engineered for airflow and structural support. Inside, a removable mesh bootie delivers a snug, sock inspired fit. The Rust Factor edition enhances versatility by including two interchangeable inner booties, one in bold red to match the accent tones and another in classic black for a more understated look.
Gradient Finish and Release Details
The updated outer shell features a modern gradient treatment that shifts from deep black to lighter tones, adding visual movement to the design. Dressed in a Black, Rust Factor, and Muslin palette, the shoe blends earthy depth with contemporary appeal. The Nike Rejuven8 Run Rust Factor is expected to release in 2026 through Nike, priced at $135 USD.
