Design Inspiration
Salomon and Hangzhou-based store Xsneaker have joined forces for a special XT-Whisper release. Inspired by the mist-covered hills and historic architecture of Shangtianzhu, the shoe’s upper arrives in a soft wheat-gray-green palette. Gradients at the toe and heel fade into a wave-shaped gold Sensifit™ frame, echoing drifting fog and sunlit treetops while symbolizing light, hope, and the spirit of exploration.
Performance Features
Beneath the refined design, the XT-Whisper carries Salomon’s signature functionality. A Sensifit™ cradle ensures a secure fit, while an EVA-cushioned midsole provides long-lasting comfort. The rugged rubber outsole offers dependable traction across city streets and light trails, with quick-pull lacing for easy adjustments and supportive overlays for durability.
Release Details
The XT-Whisper will debut at Xsneaker’s pop-up in Hangzhou’s West Lake district on September 13, followed by a wider launch beginning September 19, 2025.
