A fresh chapter in the PUMA Hoops x LaMelo Ball partnership kicks off this month with the release of the MB.05 in its first official colorway.
Design and Direction
The MB.05 leans into LaMelo’s larger-than-life persona with design details that push the boundaries of traditional basketball footwear. Fluorescent pink tones meet iridescent finishes across the upper, with barbed wire graphics referencing Ball’s tattoos.
Performance Features
Built for the court, the shoe includes an engineered mesh upper with a repeating “1” motif, NITROFOAM cushioning in the midsole for impact protection, and a molded skull detail on the outsole for added edge and style.
Release Details
The MB.05 “World Tour” colorway drops on August 29 through PUMA and select retailers. The sneaker is priced around $125, with additional colorways expected this fall.
