Kith X New Balance 2011: Ronnie Fieg honors New York City with Central Park, Madison Square Garden, and garden-inspired takes on the 2011 silhouette.
Ronnie Fieg isn’t done celebrating New York City. Hot off Kith’s 15th anniversary festivities, which included the debut of the Kith x New Balance 2011 alongside a gallery showcase of the brand’s collaborative archive, the Kith founder is launching the Monument Pack, a three-sneaker collection that transforms the 2011 silhouette into wearable tributes to NYC icons.
The trio draws inspiration from Central Park, Madison Square Garden, and a floral garden theme, each pair rendered in textured suede and perforated leather. An ad campaign unveiled by Fieg swaps traditional side panels for autumnal imagery, ticket stubs, and blooms, signaling the pack’s reverence for the city’s most recognizable landmarks.
Kith x New Balance 2011 Monument Pack Leads the NYC Lineup
The Central Park iteration pulls directly from Kith’s collaborative lineage. Constructed in tan and maroon suede, the pair echoes the beloved 2014 Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 530 Central Park, according to Sole Retriever, creating a through-line between past and present in the brand’s NYC-focused catalog. The MSG colorway requires little explanation, with its debut already expected at Kith Night at the Garden, an annual tradition that has become essential to the New York sneaker calendar.
The third colorway, branded as Garden, draws from deeper cuts in Kith’s archive. The design references an old New Balance 530 sample spotted in Kith’s Footwear Archive book, suggesting Fieg mined the brand’s vault for visual inspiration rather than starting from scratch.
Release Strategy and Availability
The Kith x New Balance 2011 Monument Pack will arrive through Kith in-store and online channels, available in unisex sizing. Retail pricing has not yet been confirmed. The release timing remains unannounced, though given the teaser campaign’s rollout and the MSG pair’s connection to Kith Night at the Garden, a drop announcement should follow soon.
With nearly two decades of NYC-centric collaborations under his belt, Fieg continues to use Kith’s platform to mythologize the city itself, turning sneakers into miniature monuments.
