The latest Nike Book 2 colorway pays tribute to one of the most influential Air Jordan 2 collaborations of the last decade.
A Tribute To A Sneaker Icon
Devin Booker and Nike are honoring a landmark moment in sneaker history with the upcoming Nike Book 2 “Just Book.” Inspired by Chicago designer Don C’s celebrated 2015 Air Jordan 2 collaboration, the special edition reimagines the luxury driven aesthetic that made the original release so memorable. By blending premium materials with modern performance technology, the pair bridges basketball heritage and contemporary style.
Tonal Luxury Meets Performance
Unlike traditional basketball sneakers that rely heavily on mesh and synthetic overlays, the “Just Book” arrives wrapped in a rich Varsity Royal finish from heel to toe. The monochromatic approach gives the silhouette a refined, elevated look while maintaining its on court identity. A plush suede tongue features embossed “BOOK” branding beneath a cutaway panel, adding another layer of premium detailing that nods to the craftsmanship behind the inspiration.
Release Information
While the sneaker leans into luxury styling, performance remains at the forefront. The low profile design is equipped with a forefoot Air Zoom unit and Cushlon 3.0 midsole, delivering responsive cushioning and a close to court feel. The Nike Book 2 “Just Book” is scheduled to release on June 26 for $155 USD through Nike and select retailers.
