The duo’s latest collaboration is a bold play on distortion, branding, and classic athletic form.
A Graphic Twist on Retro Roots
Nike and BLACK COMME des GARÇONS are back with a fresh take on the Field General 82 — a silhouette steeped in throwback gridiron style, now remixed with stark monochrome attitude. This updated version keeps the tonal black foundation but cranks up the visual tension with a flurry of distorted Swooshes and CDG branding.
The all-black upper, sole, and laces serve as a moody backdrop, letting the chaotic white graphics do all the talking. Logos stretch, warp, and multiply across every angle, pushing the sneaker into bold, experimental territory while staying grounded in sport.
Experimental Meets Everyday
Following last fall’s “MARKET” iteration, this latest release continues to blur the line between wearable and conceptual. The collaboration leans into BLACK COMME des GARÇONS’ rebellious design language, merging streetwear edge with athletic nostalgia.
A release date and pricing have yet to be confirmed, but expect this one to land sometime later this year. Stay locked for more details.
