An editorial look at the brand’s film inspired campaign
Inspiration From a Cultural Classic
AMIRI’s Pre Spring 2026 collection, titled Hollywood Breakfast Club, draws from John Hughes’ 1985 film The Breakfast Club. Shot at John Marshall High School in Los Feliz, the campaign follows a cast of young dreamers who each embody a different teen archetype, coming together to express individuality and unity at the same time.
A Wardrobe Built on Contrast
Each look reflects the fluidity of youth and identity. Mike Amiri blends vintage California ease with modern silhouettes, pairing pre worn leather bombers, faux fur jackets and relaxed layers with collegiate touches. Sporty elements mix with preppy styling, creating an aesthetic that mirrors the complexity and contradictions of self expression. The collection brings together rebels, athletes, artists and romantics through clothing that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
Signatures and Styling Details
The garments merge modern sportswear cues with collegiate memories, offering patinated leather bombers, biker jackets, mini skirts styled with penny loafers and crisp ties beneath embroidered letterman jackets. AMIRI’s signature distressed denim appears with varsity patches and pieced construction, matched with sports inspired knits and reimagined prep staples. Accessories like the Pacific, Court and Low Top sneakers as well as the Micro MA Bag reinforce the brand’s icons. The AMIRI logo and MA Monogram are treated as symbols of community, reminiscent of classic school crests and band emblems.
