Air Jordan 40 Unveils a Striking Bordeaux Colorway

air jordan

The latest iteration of Jordan Brand’s milestone model brings a rich, wine-inspired palette to the court.

A Deep Wine Tone

The Air Jordan 40 “Bordeaux” features a supple leather upper in a deep wine hue, accented with darker burgundy at the laces, tongue, Jumpman branding, and court-ready sole unit. A subtle peach orange peeks through at the medial midfoot, while Nike Air branding sits beneath a semi-translucent heel layer, completing the premium look.

Unique Materials and Design

Jordan Brand’s recent releases have emphasized material innovation across each colorway, with the Bordeaux edition following suit. This shoe joins previous standout pairs, including the Air Jordan 1-inspired “Chicago,” blending classic references with modern performance details.

Release Details

While Jordan Brand has not officially confirmed the release date, the “Bordeaux” Air Jordan 40 is expected to drop in October 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. The starting price is anticipated at $205 USD, giving fans a bold and sophisticated addition to the AJ40 lineup.
