More than just a collection, Crenshaw Skate Club’s latest release carries a message of empowerment and community.
The Power of Skate
For founder and creative director Tobey McIntosh, skateboarding has always been more than a sport—it’s a form of expression, resistance, and cultural connection. With the first drop of Crenshaw Skate Club’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, McIntosh introduces a refreshed mantra: Skate To Empower.
A Collection Rooted in Identity
The new capsule spans tailored silhouettes and street-ready staples—think varsity jackets, dyed workwear, and “Skate To Empower”-stamped graphic tees. Each piece reflects McIntosh’s belief that skating can be both personal and collective empowerment. One standout detail: the work jackets, dipped in red, black, and green camouflage dye, pay homage to David Hammons’ African American Flag, symbolizing pride and resilience.
Skating as a Movement
Shot in New York City for the brand’s annual trip, the lookbook captures seasoned East Coast skaters alongside rising talent from California, united in motion at iconic spots like the Brooklyn Banks. The visuals echo the collection’s message—skating as both art and activism.
Crenshaw Skate Club’s Fall/Winter 2025 first drop goes live today, October 11, at 11 a.m. PST via the brand’s official webstore.
